The Situation

Terminix, a classically minimal brand, was suffering from low social engagement and low sales. Part of the problem was they were virtually unknown in the northern region of the U.S. compared to their more known competitors, ORKIN.

The Approach

Market research was conducted to uncover the minimalistic approach to the brand’s photography, and lack of dynamic content to their messaging, was the culprit of low brand engagement. To rectify this problem, a series of illustrations were created to present the brand in a whimsical yet sophisticated way.


Refreshed visual approach to the brand

The Result

Through the use of social media, the whimsical approach of telling the visual stories helped increase brand awareness across the nation. This approach also helped TERMINIX obtain new business and increase sales by 10% within the first 3 months of launch.
